ACM Conference on Equity and Access in Algorithms, Mechanisms, and Optimization 2025
EAAMO 2025 - November 5–7, 2025 in University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA, USA.
Image credit: EAAMO 25Personally, I’m deeply grateful for the EAAMO community. It’s given me a place to think and talk about ML/AI through a different lens, connected to people and gave me a whole different experience of scientific world. It’s where global perspectives meet local realities, where technical depth meets societal care, and where I’ve learned to see challenges (and solutions) in new light.
If you’re looking for a conference that truly walks the talk on interdisciplinary work, social impact, and community connection, ACM EAAMO is the one. This year as well I’m involved as a registration and travel grant chair, and I would like to point out to some opportunities you may want to explore.
Call for Posters
ACM EAAMO'25 invites poster submissions from all disciplines that tackle equity, access, and the societal impacts of algorithms, mechanisms, and optimization. Whether you’re working on a technical paper, a policy proposal, or community-driven research, this is your stage. No full paper required, just a title + abstract. A fantastic space to share early-stage or reimagined ideas. Look at the call for posters. Deadline is July 25, 2025.
Doctoral Consortium
Open to PhD, masters, and undergrad students! EAAMO’s DC offers mentorship, peer connection, career discussions, and skills-building across CS, econ, OR, and beyond. Look at the call for participation. Deadline is July 25, 2025.
With Paula and Santiago at the helm of Posters and Juba leading the Doctoral Consortium, these sessions are in brilliant hands. They bring a strong commitment to making EAAMO inclusive, rigorous, and empowering for all contributors.
Community Events
One of the things that makes EAAMO special - the Community Events that root our research in practice. Last year it was Social Hackathon, but this year we have new things on our ming. From the Community Shark Tank to the Metrics Makerspace, we’re building genuine bridges with leaders from Pittsburgh and beyond, co-creating ideas that matter.
