Serbia’s Role in the Global Partnership on AI

Since March 2023, I was actively involved in the Global Partnership on AI (GPAI), contributing to the Responsible AI Working Group. This initiative aims to foster ethical AI development and ensure responsible deployment worldwide. By engaging in this high-level international collaboration, Serbia strengthens its position in the global AI landscape.

Mentorship and Project Development in 2024

As part of the Responsible AI Working Group, I had the privilege of serving as a mentor in 2024, guiding the development of two impactful projects:

1. ASLAC Migam.ai: From User Privacy to Data Subject Privacy in an LLM Dependent on Video Training Data – A project dedicated to enhancing privacy protections in AI systems reliant on video-based training data.
2. Jalisco Diabetic Retinopathy Detection and Referral – A tool designed to aid clinicians in different contexts by providing safe and accessible diagnostic support for diabetic retinopathy.

These initiatives align with GPAI’s mission to scale responsible AI solutions and promote knowledge-sharing across international AI communities.
