Transcending Multilingualism and Multiculturalism

CircleU Project

During the last week of April I had a priviledge to visit King’s College in London to attend the Transcending Multilingualism and Multiculturalism co-creation workshop. The project is a collaboration between the King’s College London, University of Alcalá, University of Pisa, Utrecht University, Aarhus University, University of East Anglia, Citizens UK, and my University of Belgrade.

This project aims to:

  • build a cultural competency co-creation consortium across Circle U. institutions
  • co-create an innovative online interactive module on cultural competency

What is actually very interesting is that I’m the only person from the Computer Science background. Talking to people from other backgrounds really gave diversity of perspectives on multilingualism and multiculturalism about using GenAI solutions in translation and interpretation. Stay tuned for more news!

A big thanks to Shuangyu Li and Elena Borelli who were our hosts!
